The vast majority of the human race has become obsessed with machines, weapons and technology. There is little chance that its chosen path of the destruction of self and all else is reversible; there is a way, but it won't be acceptable to all who have taken the industrialized slavery status as the norm, despite the obvious foreseeable future which isn't going to provide a soft landing for a ticking time bomb e.g. humanity, the species where ignorance overrides common sense intelligence beyond any measurable degree. The division between me and them, us and them, the greed, the religions, the hunger for indiscriminate antagonism, all are symptoms of a deep, ingrained disease that cannot be healed by band-aids upon band-aids.
As long as there is no will to change this mental human decay, change will not be realized.
