In the final analysis, this has to do with Real Estate, everything else has merely been an active component in its propagation.

Moses, if he existed at all, had no deeds to any speck of this Earth's soil, nobody did, until war lords claimed ownership and the self proclaimed rights to divide and designate part or parcel to whomever they pleased. The arguments have had their time. There are better ways to live than living in human self imposed uncertainties.
