Peace is Better than War was created to focus on slide show documentaries of the history and the people of many countries, with emphasis on the resilience of people despite the harshest, often horrific conditions they have been subjected to throughout history, specifically:
WARS - CRIME and CORRUPTION - OPPRESSIVE REGIMES - SUPPRESSIVE BUREAUCRACIES - DISCRIMINATION - SLAVERY - INTIMIDATION and the ever ongoing feuds between artificial wealth and the underprivileged.
Changing a World of War to a World of Peace requires a clear perspective of the evolution of human thinking and behavior from as far back as history allows without getting side tracked by a myriad of blurred events, unconvincing or one sided arguments. Not a single human needs to be an academic to see the future of mankind through the legacy history has left us with today. We can all educate ourselves and learn how to live in compliance with the organic laws that structured life on Earth, while there is nothing to stop us from developing our creative capabilities and by doing so, simultaneously serving the life around us.
ABOUT THE SLIDE SHOWS
Having started a slideshow to cover some kind of linear history on humanity around mid 2022, it soon became apparent, to no surprise, that there is no such thing as a linear history of human trials and tribunals. There is however, the "Big Picture" perspective, or, the one umbrella under which all things take place. Hence, I am editing my slideshows into segments covering specific countries while relating to global events which have impacted on a country and in the final analysis, on us all.
This web site, an offspring of the World Peace Embassy web site, focuses on people and how music has been their lifeblood throughout the political/colonial/industrial upheavals that caused unimaginable poverty, misery, starvation, suicide and a human divide of unmeasured magnitude. Yet, time and time again, people rise from the ashes of despair with music, rhythm, song and dance. How is that possible? All living organisms are made of the vibrations of Universal activity e.g. Electromagnetic Frequencies, Planetary Friction, "Big Bangs" or, "The Music of the Spheres" if you like, but certainly not by the deeds of a politically created existing or non-existing entity.
