Hi Bob
Just had a short cruise through your HARMONY page. Beautiful beautiful beautifully said WELL DONE!
If you presented it as a thesis for a PhD, you'd get distinctions all round.
My favourite bit so far is your chat about your day to day life and your home photos of the animals you care for and who care for you. Your collection of music is superb.
Thanks for sharing.

Just another day
In the human tradition of story telling since homo sapiens. Bob Oort May 31/2025

10.30 pm.  End of another day at an old house in the hills, another movie or two on the net, to pass the time, A Perfect World and Revelation. My dog tells me it's time, again, like last night, and the night before. We light up a mosquito coil for a reasonable night's sleep. We wake up at 6, but we go back to sleep only to fall into a world of dreams, people, places, happenings, of hundreds of years ago, yet with a pattern resembling recent years. We get up, 7am, 8, 9am, the dream is gone without a trace of any memory except those two that are retrievable at any time.

Mixed seeds for the birds outside and vegan dog food for my dog, a coffee to get going, a 2km walk with my dog along the silent dirt road, whispering forests on both sides. No houses, no shops, no traffic, no signs, no sirens, just the two of us, to the point where the world ends and back again to the house where laborious work has no longer been done for some time.

We sit on the porch at the back of the house, watching our other family, a rooster and an emu and the wild birds doing their thing, every day routines, just like us. I play my guitar, 20 minutes, sometimes 40, improvised, amplified, reverb turned up, to let the sound flow outside through the forest. My dog lies at my feet, emu stands outside near the porch where he can hear the sound.

I check my phone for messages, there's none, my email, but there's only spam, useless subscriptions and junk mail. My dog tells me it's 12 midday, time for his meat supplement treat. We spend some more time on the back porch, sometimes with some quick lunch and a ginger beer, sometimes only the ginger beer. We play my dog's ball game for a while, check the net for email again or something interesting to watch, but there's nothing, only the depressing usual.

Computer switched off, we go for another walk if it's not raining, same dirtroad, same forest, same silence except for a bird here and there or the rustling sound of a goanna through the dry leaves on the ground. Back in the house, we have a rest on the couch, dog waits till I sit down, then jumps on the couch too.

My dog tells me it's 4.30, I have to prepare the food for rooster and emu. 5pm, feed the birds, check emails again, nothing other than junk mail. We scroll through the YouTube algorithm thumbnails trying to find something uplifting to watch, there's nothing. One click on a random movie thumbnail brings up more deadly same theme movies. We watch one or two, to pass the time until my dog tells me it's 10.30 pm.

A GRAVE WARNING ON THE EVE OF 2026

I first posted warnings on Facebook about its criminal intent around 2005 when it became all to obvious why Facebook was pushing "games" for children onto their platform and for people to form groups. Now, 10 years later, the cat is let out of the bag by some news media ☞☞☞
